Audition for our next Musical!

Audition for Shrek Jr. and join us on an unforgettable adventure! We’re looking for talented young performers to bring the beloved characters of Farquaad, Donkey, Fiona, and Shrek to life. Whether you're new to performing or an experienced actor, this is your chance to shine in a fun, family-friendly production. Auditions are open to children of all abilities aged 7 to 18 years —don't miss your chance to be part of this magical show!

At Big Time, our youth theatre productions are designed to provide children with an experience equivalent to that of a professional West End show. We invest in high-quality sets, costumes, microphones, and programmes to ensure that each performance meets industry standards.

During the audition, children will learn and rehearse a song with the Musical Director, which they may perform in small groups or as solos, depending on time. They will also take part in a short dance routine led by the Choreographer. Character work will be explored further in the recall audition, though students may be given brief scripts to perform on the day if time permits.

• Recall auditions will take place Sunday 21st September 2025

Every Sunday, during term time only, from 1:00pm to 5:30pm, starting November 2025. While children may not be needed for the full duration each week, they must be fully available until their character is assigned.

Please note this is during May half term. Children must be fully available in order to take part
